Hallowe’en and all that Hocus Pocus!
It’s almost October 31st, and that means only one thing…Hallowe’en’s coming! Unless you’ve been on another planet for the last few months, you’ll know that The Write Romantics are publishing an anthology of short stories, all with winter or Christmas themes. It’s called Winter Tales and will be launched on November 8th. We found writing short stories very different to creating the novels we usually work on, and it’s made us look at other short story writers with even more respect and interest. The recent release of a short story anthology entitled Hocus Pocus ’14, really caught our eye. It’s a collection of thirteen tales, each with a spooky twist, ideal for this time of year. If You Don’t Have a Dream
The third member of New Romantics Press talks about her path to publication.

(Okay, first I grabbed An Englishwoman’s Guide to the Cowboy because I just couldn’t resist. Then I asked June. Don’t judge me.)
My review follows, but first please join me in welcoming June.

Today my guest author is Lizzie Lamb and I want to thank her for blogging with me today. Here is a little about her and her book Boot Camp Bride.
- What inspired you to write this book?
I spend a great deal of time in north-west Norfolk and one day when I was sitting a bench overlooking the marshes the whole story unfolded before me. The heroine, Charlee, had been in my head for ages, begging me…
